Barcode Recognition SDK add-on. Typically used for high speed scanning applications to support indexing via barcode reads as well as document separators using patch codes.

- Recognize and return string values of the PDF417 2-D symbology type as well as leading 1-D barcode types Code-39, Code-128, Code 2 of 5 (interleaved and non-interleaved), Codabar, EAN-8, EAN-13, Patch Codes, UPC-A, UPC-E
- Filter for numeric vs. text only barcodes
- Recognizes all barcodes in an image regardless of orientation (East, South, West, North)
- Obtain the bounding rectangle recognized barcodes in the image
- Detects the type of barcode recognized
- Configure uses of barcode checksum (where applicable)
- Show the checkdigit
- Available methods for optimizing read performance
- Skew and Noise reduction filters built in and configurable during read processing
- Employ oversampling for tuning quality of the reads
- Adaptive thresholding for barcodes reads from grayscale and color images
- Provide Region of Interest to minimize read areas of the image
